Yesterday was the best poker day I have had in a looong time. I just couldn't lose (ok, maybe a few games haha). I played a few games in between classes to get up about $200 in an hour and a half, and then came home and played for a little while after class. Everything went near perfect, including a 7 game win streak (almost 8 but I misclicked and committed myself to a bad pot to be in). The only possible blemish on the day was a little three buy-in downswing somewhere in the middle.
I ended up joining a $100 along with my usual $50 to see which started up first after the mini-downswing. The $100 started right up and it was Ross Boatman who is a pro on Full Tilt. Anyway, he didn't even realize it was an Omaha H/L game and I took him down pretty easily haha. But, even with losing that $100, today would still have been a great day, and I'm not so worried about tilting too much in these Omaha games since they start so much slower than their Hold'em counterparts. This gives me some time to think about the last game instead of hopping into a new one right away and pissing away some or all of my chips. So far, I'm still all about these games and have no intentions of returning to Hold'em any time soon. Let's hope I can keep this up.
